Walk-up Contestants

February 11 - 28, 2027
Weekdays 6:00 PM-7:00 PM
Weekends: 10:00 AM-1:00 PM and 3:00 PM-6:00 PM

Come to the designated line on the fairgrounds one hour prior to the scheduled performance to compete. Number of rider spots depends on amount of pre-registered riders - reserve your spot ahead of time to not miss out!!

Here is the path a contestant must take to ride in the Frost Bank Center

Become a Pre-registered or Walk-up Contestant, and ride in Bustin' In The Barn
Get the highest score of their performance to be entered for a chance to ride in the Frost Bank Center at noon on Saturday, February 27, 2027.

Contest Eligibility

Boys and Girls between the ages of 4-7 years old at the time of the event
- Proof of age required prior to performance
Contestants must weigh less than 55 lbs. fully clothed at the time of the performance
- All contestants will be weighed prior to performance (please weigh kiddos fully clothed- boots 'n all!)
Selected contestants will pay a $40 entry fee, all sales are final
Parents/ Guardians must complete the Medical Questionnaire
Parents/ Guardians must complete the Rodeo Release Form
