About the 5K: Feb. 6, 2027

The Stampede 5K Run/Walk kicks off a full day of activities associated with Western Heritage Weekend and the Annual San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, in beautiful downtown San Antonio. You will be in the middle of the action for the yearly Western Heritage Parade & Cattle Drive, Chuck Wagon Breakfast, great entertainment in the plaza, and the annual Vaquero Cook-Off after the parade. All race proceeds go to the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Scholarship Fund.

As a participant, you/your team will have the opportunity to run/walk through picturesque downtown, as you travel the route of the Western Heritage Parade and Cattle Drive.

After the Stampede, watch the Rodeo kick off with our Western Heritage Parade. It's time to register yourself/your team so you can join us for this unique opportunity to participate in this annual historical celebration!

Event Awards:

Awards for age category winners, both Male and Female in the following categories:
- 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-99, 80-99.
Overall winners, both Female and Male, will receive a special Bronze Longhorn trophy and a gift certificate to BOOT BARN.
Bronze Bull 'Standing Tall' Trophy for "Masters" (runners age 40 and up) both Female and Male and a gift certificate to BOOT BARN.
NEW CATEGORY - "Grand Masters" (runners age 65 and up), both male and female.
