Noche del Vaquero is a celebration of the traditions, horsemanship and culture that helped shape South Texas. Long before the modern American cowboy, vaqueros developed many of the ranching skills and techniques still recognized today, from working cattle on horseback to roping and expert horsemanship.
Noche del Vaquero celebrates that lasting influence through rodeo, music, dance and traditional horsemanship, featuring Ballet Folklórico, escaramuzas, charro and mariachi exhibitions, bull riding, bronc riding and more.
