One minor change for the 2024 Commercial Steer show has been made to initial and final weigh periods along with the postmark date for your record book. In order to help with mailing/delivery/receipt of record books, all dates will move 1 week earlier.

Therefore, all exhibitors in this division must have owned and had their steers on feed on or before September 1, 2023.

Initial Weight: August 26 – September 1, 2023
Final Weight: January 26 – February 1, 2024

We will be increasing the “Above Weight Target” values by 25 pounds for each of the three categories to compensate for the extra week of feeding. **Note: The scale tickets must show both steers were weighed on the same day or points may be deducted.

Record Books must be completed and mailed by UPS or FedEx by February 2, 2024 to the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Competitive Events Office.
