How It Works...

Your Contributions

The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Auction Committee works with community leaders, local businesses and supporters of the Stock Show and Rodeo to raise money for contribution to the youth exhibitors of prize winning animals.

Raising Champions

After months of caring for their animals, Texas 4-H and FFA youth exhibitors bring their animals to the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo in February to be exhibited and judged.  Livestock Projects teach our youth important lessons in responsibility, problem-solving, decision making, leadership, communication, hard work and dedication.

Winning Livestock

Exhibitors whose animals are judged as the top in their classes are eligible to sell their projects through a live auction. Money bid on the animal project is paid to the exhibitor so that he/she may continue their show experiences and educational endeavors.
