Western Heritage Parade & Cattle Drive - Downtown San Antonio - Saturday, February 1st - 11:00AM

OUR FLAGSHIP EVENT! The Western Heritage Parade and Cattle Drive Committee organizes an annual parade through the streets of historic downtown San Antonio while celebrating our proud Texas heritage, officially kicking off the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo season. The Western Heritage Parade and Cattle Drive has been one of the most successful events held in downtown San Antonio. It has been awarded the ”Best Family Event” by San Antonio ‘Downtown’s Best Award’ Ceremony. It has also been highlighted on numerous online stories, the front page of the San Antonio Express Newspaper, several national and local television stations, as well as aired live on San Antonio’s KSAT 12 SA Live program. The Western Heritage Parade and Cattle Drive truly provides a unique experience for all spectators and participants, after all, it’s not every day you get to see a herd of Texas cattle, sheep, dogs and handlers, non-motorized vehicles nor rubber tires coming down Houston Street. However, the most important aspect of the event is the experience and enjoyment the occasion brings to spectators and participants.
