Fundraising Events

Aside from the annual Stock Show & Rodeo, our volunteers work hard to put together fundraising events to support our mission. We hope you will attend these great events with us! For more info on these committees, click here.

January

This upscale party features top entertainment, great food, dancing and fun for not just fans of rodeo, but for all of San Antonio. Guests must be 21 and over to attend this event.

Features some of the world's most competitive Bar-B-Que teams, live music, family activities, Bar-B-Que trade show, kids cook-off, shopping and more. This event is a championship event sanctioned by the Lone Star Barbeque Society.

Enjoy a lovely luncheon and fashion show honoring a woman based on her independence, courage and resilience whose life exemplifies all the characteristics that preserve our western heritage and help shape Texas agriculture and the youth of Texas.

February

This free event takes us a step back in time to celebrate our historic Texas roots and kick-off the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. The parade route runs through downtown San Antonio and features participants who represent our heritage and the Old West.
The 5k run/walk takes place prior to the Western Heritage Parade & Cattle Drive in downtown San Antonio. The Stampede takes place on the main streets of Historic Downtown San Antonio!

Head to downtown San Antonio and Market Square to enjoy some of the traditional staples of the vaqueros from the 1800s. Cook-off entries include Cooks Choice, Chili and Menudo.
This competition tests the craftsmanship and salesmanship skills of students across the state. Every project is for sale to the general public. Top placing teams in the competition will see their project auctioned off at a live auction.
Qualifying Texas 4-H & FFA members compete in the richest youth clay target competition in the country for scholarships and prizes. The four day event is held at the National Shooting Complex during the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo.
Deeply rooted in Western and Mexican culture, see Mexico's Official Sport, popularized by the charros of Jalisco and the nation of Mexico. The event showcases the beautiful pageantry of rodeo skills and dressage, escaramuzas, competitive roping and ranch skills, horsemanship skills as well as the exquisite costumes.
Held during the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, this fun golf tournament pairs PRCA Rodeo contestants, volunteers and patrons in supporting the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund and the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame.
Catch this throwback to the Old West when neighboring ranches would get together to see which cowboys were the best riders, ropers and toughest hands. Six teams with five contestants each are invited to participate in the prestigious Ranch Rodeo Finals, featuring the "best of the best" ranch rodeo showcase.

April

Enjoy live music, food, and drinks, and even compete in our Pickleball tournament! Open to the whole family, this event is sure to be a great time and a fun way to join in on the Fiesta celebrations!

August

Competitive shooters showcase their talents at clay shooting during the day followed by a catered dinner, live music and dancing, as well as a live and silent auction. Proceeds benefit the Calf Scramble Committee.

September

Take part in this fun golf tournament hosted at one of San Antonio's top notch golf courses. A total of 36 teams of five players vie for Tournament Champion.

October

An evening of fantastic food, live and silent auctions, and fabulous entertainment. Guests must be 21 and up to attend. Proceeds benefit the Junior Livestock Auction & Scholarship Fund.



Come join us for a night complete with gourmet catering, drinks, live music, door prizes, and live and silent auctions. Guests must be 21 and up to attend.

November

Wine not? The Champion Wine Auction features all of the award-winning wines that submitted entries in the Wine Competition. Say cheers to the winners along with a delicious meal and silent auction.

December

Come see the top pieces of artwork from high school students. These winners are awarded scholarships for their talented works of art.
