New Rodeo Format (See Ground Rules for further details):
- Tournament Format:
- 4 brackets consisting of 12 contestants per bracket (total of 48 contestants) competing in a 4 header back to back to back to back(perf-perf-perf-perf)
- First, second, third and fourth place contestants recieve a pay-out at the end of each performance.
- After the brackets are complete (16 performances), the top 5 money winners from each bracket will move on to the semi-finals.
- There will be two semi-finals consisting of 10 contestants in each semi-final. Advancing from the Brackets is determined by total money won in their respective bracket.
- Advancing from the Semi-finals is determined by total money won (bracket money plus the respective Semi-final). Twelve (12) Contestants will advance from the semi-finals to the Finals. Contestants will be seeded according to the following schedule:

Computers with Internet access will be available to contestants in the Rodeo Hospitality Room.
New Covered Warm-up arena for all contestants is located in the South Extension of our NEW Exposition Center.
Also NEW this year is our Stall Barn, on the North side of the New Exposition Center. The new Stall Barn is home to 750 stalls.

In the timed events: Contestants will lead their horse through the event level hallway to the timed event end of the arena as directed by Arena Officials.
All contestants must have a back number to compete. To receive a back number, contestants will be required to sign a waiver in the Rodeo Secretary's Office. Secretary Office Location and Hours are listed at the bottom of this page.
Arrival/Departure Information:
Gate Entrance and Check-In: Rodeo contestants should use the West Gate/Gate A on Houston Street. Click here for a map.
All contestants must check in at the Horse Arrival Station inside the West Gate.

Secretary Office Location & Hours
Location: Inside AT&T Center employee entrance at the Northwest corner across from Rodeo Contestant Hospitality Room
Hours: 3 hours prior to each performance until the conclusion of the event
Autograph Signings (for the general public)
Please sign up inside the Rodeo Contestant Hospitality Room. Autograph signing sessions will last 15-20 minutes immediately following the conclusion of each performance. Sessions are held inside the AT&T Center across from Headliners bar.
