Mutton Bustin' is a crowd favorite! It is a fun-filled competition where a few lucky youngsters have the chance to ride on the back of a running sheep for six seconds. Each participant receives a trophy, a special Mutton Bustin' Bandana, water bottle and back sak and one top rider will recieve a hand-caste Mutton Bustin' champion belt buckle and the memory of a packed arena cheering them on! Mutton Bustin' takes place following Steer Wrestling during weekend & special rodeo performances only. Participation is limited to boys and girls who are between the ages of 4 -7 yrs old and weigh less than 55lbs. at time of competition.
Mutton Bustin Entries are closed for the 2008 show. Winners will be randomly selected from qualified entries and will be notified by December 1st.
