S.A.L.E. Annual Meeting

Life Members, scholarship recipients and their families, Executive Committee members and staff gather each year to celebrate the scholarship students and to hear the announcement of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo's Commitment to Education.

The Annual Meeting takes place in May.  Life Members, Scholarship recipients and their families, Executive Committee members and staff gather to celebrate the  students and to hear announcements about the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo.

This meeting serves as the first official announcement of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo's contribution to education for the year. The San Antonio Livestock Exposition, Inc. has contributed over $134.6 million to education in the form of scholarships, grants, endowments, calf scramble, western art and junior livestock auctions and show premiums paid to youth. This year alone, S.A.L.E. commited $11.3 million to educating the youth of Texas.

This meeting is also a time for Scholars to tell their stories about how S.A.L.E. has personally affected their attainment of higher education and express their thanks to the organization.
