Since its inception eight years ago, the Cowgirls Live Forever Style Show has awarded over $950,000 in scholarships. This profound giving would not be possible without the contributions of sponsors and donors of the event who avidly support the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo's mission, "A volunteer organization that emphasizes agriculture and education to develop the youth of Texas."

The honoree of the Cowgirls Live Forever Scholarship Luncheon & Fashion Show is chosen based on her independence, courage and resilience as a woman whose life exemplifies all the characteristics which preserve our western heritage and help to shape Texas agriculture and the youth of Texas.
