StarBar-B-Que Cook-Off & FestivalStar

The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Bar-B-Que Cook-Off & Festival will be held September 25-27, 2014 at the Freeman Coliseum Grounds. A Las Vegas-style Casino Night will be held on Thursday, Sept. 25th in the Expo Hall with live music by Josh Grider. Friday will feature live music (from 3-11 pm), shopping, The Smoke Pit Saloon, and more. Saturday is a day for all ages with family-friendly activites including Mutton Bustin' (register online below), shopping, the annual "Bad Boys of BBQ" competition, the new Air Force Hi Flyin' BBQ Finals and FREE BBQ plates for attendees (while supplies last)!

Cookoff Contestant Registration Information


The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Bar-B-Que Cook-Off is a championship event sanctioned by the Texas Gulf Coast Bar-B-Que Cookers Association. The cookoff features over 250 teams of the world's best Barbequers. Proceeds from this event benefit the S.A.L.E. Scholarship Fund.
