First Annual San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo's Wine Competition was held on October 24, 2009.  We gathered a highly experienced and talented panel of judges to select our award winning wines. 

The award winning wines will be showcased throughout the 2010 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo and celebrated in a tasting and food pairing at the 33rd Annual San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo's Go Western Gala, "Wine & Rodeo" event January 16, 2010 in the New Multi-Purpose Facility.   The top award winners will be awarded and auctioned that night, with proceeds benefiting the San Antonio Livestock Exposition, Inc. Scholarship Fund.  A portion of the funds raised during the wine auction will be specifically designated toward Viticulture scholarships for Texas youth attending Texas colleges and universities with programs supporting viticulture.

The 33rd Annual Go Western Gala "Wine & Rodeo" is an evening of greatness ~ Great Food, Great Wine, and Great entertainment!  With over 100,000 sq.ft. of entertainment! 

This year's entertainment will feature 2006: Academy of Country Music: Top New Male Vocalist, Rodney Atkins and Texas own country rock band Two Tons of Steel will open the Gala.  Mouth watering Texas cuisine will be catered by The RK Group.  There will be a NEW exclusive area at the Gala this year.  The "Cattlemen's Club", will feature premium spirits in a luxury lounge area where you can chat with friends and have that special drink. 

Also, new this year is the Champion Wine Auction.  We will be auctioning the Champion, Reserve Champion, Best All-Around, and Best of Herd wine winners from the First Annual S.A.L.E. Wine Competition.  If you can't make the gala and would like a taste of the winners, you can purchase the 6-pack Sampler. Samplers will be available for purchase.  You can choose from three Samplers; Champion Sampler, Award Sampler, and Medal Sampler.
