The 7th Annual S.A.L.E. for Kids was held on September 14, 2006 at the newly renovated Pearl Stables.  It was a beautiful evening, and guests mingled both indoors and out, enjoying a menu of gourmet pulled pork sandwiches, handmade mini-gorditas, Southwest ceviche and three varieties of chili.  A variety of desserts and a full bar rounded out the menu for everyone in attendance.  Sponsors were treated to a seated dinner prior to the live auction, which raised money for a great cause with some incredible items up for bid:  unforgettable hunting trips, a precious yellow lab puppy and several catered events were just a few.  The silent auction and raffle added fine wines, gift packages and sparkling jewels to the mix of things that were up for grabs.   The evening ended with guests dancing to the Drugstore Cowboys before heading home.
