The 12th Annual San Antonio Stockshow and Rodeo BBQ Cook-off and Concert was held at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Selma, Texas on Saturday, January 26, 2008. There were 211 teams who competed for the coveted Grand Champion, which was awarded to John Price with Rut-N-Bucks. The Reserve Grand Champion was awarded to Dewayne Bowman with Smokin Millers. Congratulations to these teams and to all of our winners!

There were activities for all ages, including a carnival, vendor booths, live music, and free food. Jason Boland & the Stragglers was the headliner, who played at the main stage to a "standing room only" crowd.
The 12th annual Bar-B-Que Cook-off was brought to you through the efforts of over a hundred dedicated volunteers. All proceeds benefit the SALE Scholarship fund.
